DOUBLE BLACK BOX: Hamann invents the DOUBLE BLACK BOX (DBB) (20 sqm, 3 meters high) to create a closed system which integrates the interior and exterior of the photographic process. People in two rooms which are connected by a lense communicate through screen-contact rather than facial contact. According to the changing lighting the visitors take turns in being actors and observers. The projection enables and drives communication forward. Hamann built her first 'Double Black Box' from plasterboard (Westend-Bahnhof, Berlin, 95), then she constructed a tent camera in order to be mobile. She organises numerous happenings such as parties, afternoon dances and play readings. The DBB is used as a catalyst for intimate photo stagings, which are being taken with a middle format camera. DOUBLE BLACK BOX: Mit der DBB (20 qm, 3 m Höhe) konzipiert Hamann ein geschlossenes System, das das Innen und Außen des fotografischen Prozesses integriert. Zwei Räume, verbunden mit einer Linse, besetzt mit mindestens je einer Person, kommunizieren über Bildkontakt statt Blickkontakt. Im Takt der gekoppelten, alternierenden Lichtschaltung werden die Besucher abwechselnd zu Schauspielern und Betrachtern. Man agiert von Projektion zu Projektion. Ihre erste Double Black Box baute Hamann aus Rigipsplatten (Westend- Bahnhof, Berlin, 95), dann konstruierte und realisierte sie die Zeltkamera, um ortsunabhängig zu sein. Sie veranstaltet unterschiedliche Happenings wie z.B. Partys, Tanztee und Theaterspiellesungen. Die DBB nutzt Hamann als Katalysator für intime Fotoinszenierungen, die mit der Mittelformatkamera aufgenommen werden. Fotoinszenierungen O.
